2 Bedroom Cabin in Lackawaxen

Enjoy a romantic getaway in this very cozy cabin near the lodge and mountain. You can also bring the kids for a family getaway. There are two bedrooms, and the house can accommodate 5-6 people. One bedroom has a queen bed with a one-of-a-kind rustic, timber headboard made from sassafras. The other bedroom has two twin beds. Each bedroom has its own heat and thermostat, a ceiling fan, lamps and a large closet with luggage rack. The futon sofa in the living room opens to a full-size bed that can sleep two. There is one full bathroom and a full kitchen. There is a compact washer & dryer. The house is air-conditioned. There is a wood-burning fireplace and a fire-pit off the deck, so bring a supply of firewood and enjoy the fire inside and out. There is a gas grill on the deck and patio furniture to enjoy the autumn air and foliage.
There is one TV in the living room with basic cable, Apple TV and a DVD player. There is a selection of games to play.

Summary: The house may not have much curb appeal but when you step inside, it’s beautiful! So comfortable and perfect for a small family. The kitchen is a bit outdated but so wonderfully maintained, the older appliances work better than the newer ones I have at home! The bathroom is beautifully updated. The hammocks, fire pit and game selection are awesome. The property manager Chuck is so easy to communicate with. He is extremely professional and seems like an all around nice guy. When we checked in the TV was not working for us. Chuck had it replaced immediately, even though TV is the last thing you need here. It was a pleasure dealing with him. Can’t wait to go back!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay near Ski Big Bear. The house was perfect for our needs with a fantastic fireplace, nice selection of family games and very comfortable beds. The proximity to skiing was a huge plus and we would definitely stay there again. Chuck also is a fantastic host, a really good communicator and he takes care of the property. Overall a great stay.

Summary: House is really well located, only 4’ from the ski lodge! Fully equipped, perfect for a family of 5. It was all decorated for Christmas! We will be back!

Summary: This house was perfect. It had everything we needed, kitchen is well stocked with just about everything you could need, right down to the ice cream scoop! Clean and well kept.Chuck reached out to make sure everything was good.

Summary: The house was cozy and perfect for a family of 4. The owner had board games which was great for our evenings. The house has been decorated with Christmas lights and we had cookies and chocolates to welcome us which was an instant hit with the kids! The location was awesome. We were about 10 minutes away from the slopes. We can’t wait to go back!!! Thank you Chuck for making this an amazing way to bring in the New Year!
